Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use StencilCut. If you are between 13 and 17 years old, you may only use the service with explicit written consent from a parent or legal guardian. By using this service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Copyright Ownership of Uploaded Content

By uploading any image, you represent and warrant that you own the copyright to that image or have explicit written permission from the copyright holder to use it for this purpose. StencilCut is not responsible for verifying ownership of uploaded content. You accept full legal responsibility for any copyright infringement arising from your uploads.

3. Prohibited Content — Licensed Intellectual Property

You may not upload images containing trademarked logos, professional or collegiate sports team marks, entertainment characters, celebrity likenesses, branded merchandise, or any other third-party intellectual property without express written authorization from the rights holder.

This prohibition applies regardless of whether the intended output is for personal or commercial use. Accounts found to violate this policy will be terminated without refund.

4. Physical Output Disclaimer

Files generated by this service are provided as-is. You are solely responsible for verifying dimensions, material compatibility, machine safety settings, feed rates, power levels, and all physical cutting or engraving results. StencilCut makes no warranty that generated DXF files are suitable for any particular machine, material, or application. Always perform a dry run and use appropriate safety equipment when operating laser cutters or CNC machines.

5. Credits

Credits are consumed upon initiating a generation job regardless of whether the output meets your expectations. Credits are non-refundable except where a server-side error prevented job completion, in which case credits are automatically refunded. Purchased credits do not expire. Free monthly credits reset every 30 days and do not roll over.

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that: (a) violate these Terms; (b) submit abusive, illegal, or harmful content; (c) attempt to circumvent usage limits or payment systems; or (d) engage in any activity that disrupts the service. Termination results in forfeiture of remaining credits without refund.

7. Service Availability

StencilCut is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uptime, and we reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StencilCut's liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 90 days preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the service operator is domiciled, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
